The President of the Confederation of Citizen Enterprises of Tunisia “CONECT“, Mr. TARAK CHERIF, met this Tuesday, August 9, 2022, in the presence of the member of the National Executive Board, Mr. MEHDI BHOURI, the expert in taxation and budgetary policies of the International Monetary Fund Mr. PATRICK PETIT. This meeting is part of an IMF technical assistance mission for the benefit of the Tunisian Government.
The meeting focused on the review of tax policy and ways to develop it in order to further stimulate investment and improve the competitiveness of economic institutions.
This meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the proposals put forward to create an investment climate conducive to boosting exports, improving the purchasing power of citizens and enhancing the foundations of rapid and sustainable growth in Tunisia.
